Nice you got it dialed in the way you like. 240km is a heck of a ride on any bike. I am not as skilled and comfortable with only a front brake as you are... I have had a few near misses and instinctlvely grabbed a handful of front and rear. I probably would of high sided with only fronts.

I am new to this classic Dahon having just purchased one... I do find a lot of enjoyment riding it. It definitely has a place in the types of rides I want to take.

Thanks for sharing this.

Awesome that you have one! You will enjoy it. Do yourself a favour and re-pack everything, it makes a huge difference. If you're planning on upgrading anything let me know, I can spare you some of the major headaches I went through!

Go for it! They are super affordable as far as folding bikes go, mainly because they have a bad reputation for ride quality. I think this is because a few of the key stock parts are not great. The stock saddle is a great example. In addition to weighing 10lbs, it has a bizarre, drunken-sailor way of swirling back and forth in a sea-sickness inducing motion that would put anyone off. It was the first thing to go when I brought my bike home.
