I have 2 of those Lite Pro seat posts on 2 Dahon Boardwalks and have found them to be excellant. They adjust the seat tilt angle easier than any seat post I have ever used before. You can get the angle precise not close so it is very comfortable. Mine are used with Brooks seats. A Swift and a modified B 17. If you want I can do some pictures. Roger

Nice bike, quick question - is your litepro seatpost an aluminium one as seen on various ebay pages (very reasonably priced)? How are you finding it? Looking to change my biologic pump/seatpost combo as I feel it's too heavy
The seatpost feels like it has a slight bit more flex in it than the original Dahon seatpost/pump. One nice thing is that it came with a plastic shim which prevents slippage and also prevents the seatpost from getting scratches. |

The LitePro seatpost that I used in these photos came with the Crius bike I bought, so I don't know the price. I've just ordered a replacement one from eBay that cost $23US/$30CAN. If when I receive it, it is any different than the original, I'll let you know.

Mine were from EBay. I found the easiest way to adjust is to start with the seat tight. Then ride the bike. If the nose needs to go down loosen the back bolt half a turn and tighten the front bolt half a turn. If it needs to go up loosen the front bolt half a turn and the tighten the rear bolt. Take it for another ride and adjust as necessary. It may take a few rides to get it where you want but it is time well spent. Roger

Surprised that it only lost half a pound. Looks great
the weight and 3 spd make this a pretty laid back (pokey) bike, but cush with the Big Apples where the skinny tired brommie is quicker , but harsh. 8 speed would open it up, as they got with the sport model Curve |
