Something in the air in San Francisco

For some lucky San Franciscans, there is a Birdy, an Anemos, a cheap Brompton, and an electric Xootr posted on Craigslist.

I would bite on the electric Xootr, but it's discontinued so I have no idea how I would get support or a replacement battery to fit.

The company still exists so they should be able to support the product. If I bought it I would contact them for their knowledge of the battery pack, then plan for how I would stuff new cells in that case. Between Xootr and all the companies who sell battery cells, I think keeping this bike on the road wouldn't be all that difficult.

Battery is not removable...

Xootr Swift-e (Electrified) - 8 Speed,...I personally wouldn't recommend it.

I reached out to Xootr. They directed me to the guy who made the batteries for them. We'll see if he responds.

I suspect it's going to have to reach non-electric Swift prices before he moves it. It's a low-power kit and that non-removable battery is a real problem.
