Rust bucket. I would demand $45 to haul his trash away.

I'd probably offer $15 which he might bite at if there is no other interest. Certainly looks sortable with a bit of effort.

Getting it just to have a very early DaHon?

Those wheels look rough and if they aren't salvageable then it may be costly to replace. If you planned on getting new wheels anyway then it might be worth the look, but I would offer $20 max.

Not bad, but I would try to get the price down a bit. In top notch shape and complete they go for around $150 or so on Ebay

Yeah, definitely looks to need more than $105 worth of work.

I would prefer buy a brand new Dahon at 450 $ instead of spending 45$ on a discarded Dahon. Always remember,you get what you pay for. Happy riding!

This is nonsens. I have bought both Bromptons and a NWT for far less than they are wort becouse there is no market where I live, and no- they were NOT stolen. I got a mint Miyata 912 for free and a mint Miyata 914 for £ 300,-the Eddy was £ 300,- too- also mint. Sometimes peopel do not understand what they are selling, sometimes potential buyers have no idea what the stuff is worth that is up for sale so no competition. In some areas peopel have too much money so they sell stuff cheap to avoid having to get rid of it, peopel come to your door step and pay to take it away.

It all depends what you want, what has value in your opinion.

He was referring to a $45 rust bucket, and made a general observation about how something that seems super-cheap is probably priced that way for a reason. I'm not sure blasting him with "that's nonsense" is warranted.
