Electric Brompton delayed
 

From A to B magazine, Feb. 2018, p. 6:

Following unexpected technical issues, the Electric Brompton model has been set back yet again, with September 2018 now seen as the earliest likely launch date. Shop managers have reportedly been told not to take further orders for the time being. And that really is all we know!

I thought they were already available in the UK?

I thought you could reserve one in the UK but they weren't being delivered yet:

..and the rest of the world gets access later. But if the A to B news is correct, UK residents might have to wait until September to take delivery.

Does someone know how the Brompton solution compares to kits already available in terms of price + performance ?

The Brompton factory website is vague about actual ship/delivery dates ("mid-2018") but UK-region folks can still put a Brompton Electric reservation (£200) in the cart.
