i want to know where I can buy a 64t chain ring set for the carryme.

I find support for big rings a pain. Most Trike, folding, and mini-velo vendors have them, but they can be extremely expensive.
If you are flexible, here are some options that won't break the bank. 61T, Ramped and pinned, $52.47 61T, Ramped and pinned, $52.50 68T, No ramps, $64 69T, Aero, No ramps $72 70T, Aero, No ramps, $73.28 75T, Aero, No ramps, $79 What are you using for the rear freewheel/cassette? Rear gear ratios? |
CarryMe doesn't use a standard chain and crank arm. Their chain ring/wheel has a 4 bolt pattern instead of the usual 5. Chain I think comes as a loop/connected(no pinning/quick links); not the usual bike chain. So you're stuck getting the factory parts from a distributor/dealer.

So, it looks like a couple of potential issues. I'm seeing photos of bikes with 4-bolt and 5-bolt cranks. However, I'm seeing that the bike comes stock with 84T front, 14T rear. http://www.pacific-cycles.com/files/...r%20manual.pdf However, everything says "tiny teeth", but nothing seems to be listing the actual sprocket pitch. So, going from 84T to 64T would be much lower gearing. So, any idea what the chain type/pitch is? Here are some notes about chain pitch: GC 64T, #35, and #219 gocart rings are relatively common, and not too expensive. The trick would be to adapt the gocart ring to a bicycle crankset. https://www.ebay.com/itm/64T-Split-S...t/201015192571 https://www.ebay.com/itm/219-6061-T6...g/123025736639 Another option might be seeing if one could replace the rear sprocket with one slightly larger. Say 16T or 18T. The clearance around the rear chainstays also looks tight, so going bigger could be an issue. |

There are a few overdriven internal gear cranks to multiply the smaller gear to act like its bigger though physically not..

The Patterson has its own chainring interface, not common 5 or 4 bolt.
