Fast 20" Tires for a Folding Bike Century
I'm planning to do a century ride on my Bike Friday Pocket Rocket in May. I need to fly to get to the ride, so I'm taking my BF rather than doing it on my carbon fiber (CF) bike I would normally ride.
The rims on the bike are Alex Rims DA22: 451 X 14, 6061H-T6, and the stock tires are Kenda Kwest 20 X 1 1/8", 28 X 451. I like to ride 25mm tires on my CF bike.
What brand, model and size tires would you recommend for a faster century ride?

I have Schwabe Stelvios on my Pocket Rocket in 451-25s. I would recommend using the tires you have to ride a century unless they have a lot of wear. I doubt if changing to 25s from 28s would make 5 minutes different in you time for the ride. My wife also has a Friday Pocket Crusoe and currently has Primo Comets on her bike. The Comets might be faster than the Kendas but I think flat more often. We have also both used Kendas with no problems. Roger

I have to change the tires since a loose brake (my fault) rubbed and created a weak ridge with a resulting bulge along one of the tires.
I looked at the Bike Friday website and purchased Schwalbe Durano 20 X 1 1/8" (451). They said it's what their racers use on their Bike Fridays. We'll see how they feel.

I purchased the Schwalbe Durano's but I'm going to try the Panaracer Minits Lites too! They have great reviews.
