Folders and the single guy
Let's face it, folders generally do look a little funny, and I think many people shy away from them in large part for that reason. But I've repeatedly experienced a phenomenon that has convinced me a folder is the best choice for the single guy. I'm sure this is more common in cities where getting around by bike is atypical.
At least half the time when I go out I am offered a ride home by girls when they find out I'm on my bike. Because I'm a) engaged and b) enjoy the 12 miles from Dallas to Irving, especially late with hardly any cars, I turn down the rides.
But if I was single . . .
and always went out on my folder so I could throw it in a automobile trunk . . .
