I'm using the standard version of MKS Lambda/Gripkings on my BF pakiT.
Feels nice with sneakers and flip-flops. I see a lot of Brompton owners using
the quick release(EZY Superior) version:

Rivendell sells the RMX and people seem to love them. I have the gripkings; they are longer than the RMX so more full foot support if you prefer that.

My wife's Dahon has rubbery pancake flat pedals. No biting teeth and feel comfortable even in crocs. I am a spinner and they don't slip like you think they would looking at it.

I have the RMX pedals but not on my Brompton. I like them because I don't notice them. To me that means they just work without me thinking about it. I also have the Grip Kings and I do like them but sometimes they feel so big compared the sneaker pedal. With the Ezy Adapter set, they might be good for you.

I've used both Superior and EZY. Superior needs a bit more fiddling; need to line up dots to disconnect.
EZY; need to remove clip before disconnecting. But that's only necessary if you use the round clip.
