Dahon x Birdy??
1 Attachment(s)
A friend of mine, who is a folding bike enthusiast and a mechanical engineer, has put a BIRDY fork onto a DAHON frame.
There were some technical difficulties but finally all sorted out. From my point of view, the hybrid freak looks really not bad. How do you think? The only question is then its name. Maybe we call it BIRDAHONY? :) |
Looks great. I believe the frame is a Dahon Courser, an old chinese model. And presumably the handlepost is from Tern.

I would call it a Bihon (as the Bridy fork is on the front, less than half of the bike and it sounds like a funny animal). Dady would be another possibility but may lead to confusion. :p On the other hand Bihon is also food but I hope no one would try to cook and eat a bike.

Well done. I hope you post pics of the bike when its finished.

Hi.
how did you get the fork to connect to the forks? birdies usually use an inverted stem. |
Oh
just realised. as it's a Dahon frame it doesn't need a Birdie stem. |
