Considering a Tern verge

I am a 51 year old male 6 foot 190lbs. I am considering buying the tern verge p10. I am a casual rider who is looking for something that I can ride for 5- 15 miles on paved roads and will not have a problem with moderate hills. I do not live in a bike friendly area so I prefer something that is easily transportable. My last bike was a trek fx entry model. Thanx in advance

Tern makes a nice product. I owned a Tern Verge X10 for years and it was a nice ride but then I bought a Brompton. I think you'll be fine with the Tern P10 as the X10 was more bike then I needed. I found the X10 to be a firm riding bike and not to my comfort level. Don't forget that folding bikes like the Tern use very thick tubing that plus aluminum means a hard ride . The Brompton on the other hand uses steel which gives and flexes plus a small suspension in the rear . I'm not telling you to buy a Brompton but I wish I had rode one before buying the X10. That said the P10 is a nice bike and you have a great choice of tires in the 406mm wheel size.

Thanx for the info ride comfort is important to me. I will test ride the tern and see what other options I have.

And Save the sales slip .. Tern has had some Recalls, they don't all come out perfect...
