Airnamal Fans?

Any Airnamal fans out there?
When I was shopping for a packable bike I chose a BF Pocket Llama, but quickly realized with 20" wheels I was getting dropped at club rides and races overseas. Which led to me picking up a Joey a few years back for a Gran Fondo in China. The 24" wheels though still small allowed me to keep up, especially on the climbs which were murder on the BF. Initially looked at the Chameleon but wanted the versatility of wider tires and the Joey has rear disc tabs if I decide add a carbon disc fork in the future. I rarely ride the Airnamal except to travel, but I'd like to start taking it out for local rides. I'll take some pics next time it goes out, but who else is riding an Airnamal?

My comment would be you bought a BF designed as a touring bike you should get dropped at group rides. You should of bought a Pocket Rocket or Pocket Rocket Pro if you wanted to go fast. I ridden many group rides on my Pocket Rocket and have no problem staying with the group. 20 inch tires are not your problem your choice of BF was. Roger

Chameleon owner here. Love, love, love this bike. Goes toe to toe with regular road bikes and my Cannondale gathers dust because this is now my go to group and solo distance riding bike. Swapped in a set of Duranos and what a difference fresh tires make. Pretty sure the set on the bike were from 2009. I've seen a BF but not ridden one so I can't compare. I will say the 24 inch tires ride great over most surfaces. New England has lots of bumps and potholes and no issues so far. Seems like Airnimal is the BF in England.

I figured a great day outside for photos. Keeping with the British theme here is my chameleon sitting against my TR-8.

I also just added the side mirror to help me see approaching traffic easier.
