Front kickstand

Have you encountered any challenges using so mounted kickstand in practice? A Canadian folder with a front mounted kickstand appeared in the Forums but it later turned out that its function was to support a folded rather than unfolded bike.

I will really test it in my next tour in 4 month.I used the tubus kickstand and made the plate
