Went ahead and stripped the old drive chain off for the anticipated arrival.

Well, my Litepro FD adapter ordered on Jan 31 just came in. It looks like it would work with Brompton well. I have another one there at this moment, but wanted to explore all options, particularly when not at much cost. The shape is quite similar to another inexpensive adapter that has been around for a while, just with material shaved off. Less build up should leave more space for the derailleur cage, important given the thick seat tube on a folder.

RD adaptor has arrived at my house, and I am not there! Looks like I have two projects to keep me busy Friday after I jump off the messenger bike, cockpit change on the Nano and drivetrain change on the Dahon Boardwalk.

Have not forgotten the Dahon, just spending more time with the Mercier Nano. Also, I can’t find the BB for the Tiagra crankset! Pissing me off. I have the Deore shifter set on the bar, Ultegra DR on the new adaptor and it cabled up... just no crank.

So tiny but fits like a glove.

Pulled the BB out of a parts box and wondered why it was in there!! In short order got the BB, crankset, chain and pedals on for a finish.


Now watching rain fall.
