Looking for Business Partner

I am starting a retail business focused on selling folders/foldable bikes with a unique retail strategy. I have the business plan and the financing in place to execute.

I'm looking for someone who fullfills the following requirements:

-entrepreneurial minded, can identify opportunities and is excited about starting and growing a company
-tactical, can solve problems and overcome obstacles creatively and efficiently
-salesperson, can engage customers and negotiate with channels effectively
-aggressive, is hungry for success
-leader, can lead and motivate employees
-track record of achievement
-passion for folders

This person is essentially the General Manager of the company, responsible for:

-staffing and motivating sales
-selling to end users and channels
-executing and refining marketing strategy (offline and online)

My background includes:

-MIT EE degree, MIT Sloan MBA degree
-Startup experience in the Silicon Valley
-Management consulting experience
-investment banking experience

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to start and own their business. The job would be exciting and extremely rewarding.

If you qualify and are serious, please submit a resume and cover letter (optional).

I think bike folk tend to be solitary, thus the silence on this post. I despise anything having to do with "sales", and I'm certainly past the agressive and hungry for success stage of my life, but otherwise it looks interesting. I guess that just leaves the "passion for folders" part, huh?

Best of luck with your endeavor. I'll be on the lookout for you in the near future.

Not only that, you've got to talk to the folder folks. They only deal with the authorized dealers, I believe.

Good luck to you, though.
