Let's see how 'less costly' the more substantial Aliexpress purchases have been for me. I bought Ti handlebars for Brompton, paying $75 total. The handlebars came crooked, with one side rising more than 1cm higher than the other. As sending them back with tracking would have cost more than the purchase I had to resign myself to $37 refund, losing the other half. I bought an electric travel pot for $50, S/H included. The seller sent me a cheaper model than advertised, which I could have bought for $30 on Amazon. I shipped the purchase back, because I wanted the unscrupulous seller to feel a pain at least comparable to mine. The shipping with tracking cost me $44 or so and I got a refund of $47 (presumably fluctuating exchange rate), for a total loss of $47. The seller did not even bother to correct the description in their AliExpress offer.

Now the Trigo bag mounts for Brompton, that I acquired, have been good. I bought some bicycle pouches on AliExpress and they were of marginal quality, out of thin material, but stiff like metal on seams. I would not put such a pouch on a worst bike. If you care to try out any 'less costly' bag for Brompton on AliExpress, please report about your experience. For the trial you might need to be better off than you think.
