Cannondale Compact Neo
Is this a new e bike or am I late with the news?

It’s an electric minivelo marketed as being lighter to go up stairs and public transport. An urban ebike. As long as you have good arms. The weight is 40 lbs - 18 kg. I wonder how much it weighs without the battery.

Since the battery is in the frame, taking it out to carry it may be inconvenient.

Seems to be a nice manifestation of fold-flat handlebars.

It does look like a nice ebike. The torque sensor will make it ride more like an acoustic bicycle too. The motor is a bit underpowered though, but the lower capacity battery will most likely be fine with it, so it should get decent range. Now, the 25kph/15mph speed cap is where I find it a deal breaker for me, personally. All my erides are capable of 20mph, or more, w/human input. That EU only limit would definitely keep me from finalizing the purchase. It is a beautiful ride nonetheless.

It's perfectly fine being here, due to mini velos being in this section. The thing is it's definitely an ebike, and the "purists" might be upset by it's posting here. I suggested the ebike forums because others may know more about it, and there's going to be SOMEONE who may go absolutely crazy over it. Me, like I said above, I like it. The speed & power, or lack of, is what kills it for me.

I guess 12Kg with the displayed components. Just built a very similar (kids-)bike with same ancestor - cannondale hooligan, mine is a cheap knock-off, frame weight is 1600g, as most other non-folding 20" bikes. It came out 7.8Kg with halfway descent components.
