Well the seat tube and rear triangle fold. The stem has a quick release and could be called disassembly. They're MOSTLY folding.

Between Brompton and Bike Friday, it comes down to whether one would want the faster, more compact fold, or the more efficient bike once ridden. Here's a 34 second video of a Bike Friday New World Tourist being folded and then unfolded.

It's not a much slower fold than a Brompton, if at all, but it is bigger and the stem is left loose.

It's for those reasons that I'm leaning toward a Bike Friday for my next folder. It will still easily fit in a car trunk or soft bag for train travel, but then isn't such a drain to pedal as something with an IGH.

Agreed.

Oh yeah, for train travel (if able to be kept beside you, or put on luggage shelf at end of car), even a 20" bifold works great. It's air travel that may be trickier, if they don't take the folded bike as-is in a bag, otherwise I'll have to break it up into two bags, a lot messier. A waxed chain with clean drivetrain instead of oil lube will help.

I'm going to go with a rare one. Pacific IF Mode.

I've never seen one in the wild, but it's definitely a cool high end folder.

Looks nice, stylish! I can't read whatever Asian language is displaying so don't know the specs.

Wasn't there another company that had a bike that was real close in fold design? I kinda remember something from like 15yrs ago.

This site apparently has them for sale and gives specs:

32lbs and a 2psd Schlumpf for $2.7k. Nah.

'and a 2psd Schlumpf'...

Can they not include a kickback or automatic rear wheel 2-speed hub the SRAM Automatix or the Sturmey Archer S2C, for fourish speeds?

Their hubs are special single-sided,doubt they'd want to deal with the cost of a custom design.
