what dahon boardwalk is this
there is only one dahon dealer in norway.. a crime, really. anyway, I want one, and I think a boardwalk suits my commuting needs. my problem is their webstore.. the info is pretty lacking..
this is their boardwalk
https://www.maritim.no/ontime_product...aram=010004001
I'm not sure if the site is updated so that this is the one they actually sell.. but I assume so.
I don't know what year or model it is... can any experts extract that from the info and picture?
nothing of the norwegian there is really important, you can understand the specs without understanding the language.
any help would be appreciated

Looks like a D7.
https://dahon.com/boardwalkd3.htm (note: D3 is the same but with an internally geared hub, not a 7-speed derailleur)
EDIT: I should add, Dahon makes a LOT of bikes for the foreign market that don't exactly fit in their line-up. In Canada, they go under the name "Avenir" - the Alloy model is the EXACT match of a 2004 Impulse D6. (6-speed derailleur). Take a look here. ...and here.
Perhaps the one offered in your area is a 2004 or something not in the main Dahon line. Don't let it discourage you - Dahon seems to make a quality product under any badge.

I think it is more likely last year's D6, since it has six gears if I interpret the Norwegian right.

I guess this means: with 6 whatever Shimano gears and shifter ( <- revers order -> )gripshift.
That's why I thought about the D6.

You interpret 100% correctly, and so I guess this is the D6 from last year. This is a good bike? Any fatal drawbacks?
Thanks for the help, all.

I looks alot like the 2003 Boardwalk D6. I use the 2003 single speed (now converted to a Sturmey Archer AW three speed). The only problem I had with it is the front hub axle needed to be replaced. Otherwise, no problems experienced here. Purchase with confidence!
