The bike has potential but it takes a lot of money to even get it up to mediocre in many areas. It really needs a good SRAM or Nexus 8spd internal hub too. Toss the derailleur option.

I geuss I will have to wait to get a 16" DT until Yan has them. I definitely can use a few anyway. Hopefully he will soon have the 20" internal hub models available too.

Hey guys I want to give an update on the delays for the VIIIH and mini internal hub bikes. The Sturmey Archer hubs are tough to get. My allotment was delayed 60 more days, on top of a 30 day delay a while back. In addition to the standard 30 day wait, this implies we are looking at a 120 day turnaround. Over the past two weeks I have been trying to get bumped up in line, however I have had minimal success. I am also getting some Capreo mini bikes, however lead times are over 90 days. In short we will have some unfortunate delays for our new bikes.

Currently, I am expecting the internal hubs to arrive in the factory in April for an April/May ship date and May/June delivery. I am trying to coordinate with the factory and import agent to get these delivered ASAP.

Thanks,
Yan

Yan,
That's alright, it gives me more time to save some cash and buy one!:)
