Sturmey Archer DIY manuals
Hello,
Does anyone know of a resource for DIY maintenance of modern Sturmey Archer hubs? I have the XRF-5s. A PDF file that goes above and beyond adjusting the cable would be great.

, so Mr. Nexus answers a Sturmey question
Yeah they didn't seem to have one for the XRF-5. I will check again. Thanks.

Nexus, I got the XRD-5 one. I imagine it's a superset of the XRF-5 since it is more complicated, i.e. has a drum brake whereby mine just free wheels.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Yeah, I'd assume things such as maintenance and adjustment procedurec would be the same between XRD* and XRF*. For the XRF8 (have it on my Downtube VIIIH), they have separate manuals for the XRF and XRD, but not for the XRF5. Perhaps write to the contact provided?
I never noticed the irony of replying to the SA question with my nick! I have a Shimano Inter-3 on my hybrid, I wonder if that falls into the Nexus family.

strange the way there are detailed manuals for some of the Sunrace SA hubs and not for others. Clicking on the links to manuals for the some of the 5 gear hubs leads nowhere, whereas for the SRF3 you get a detailed instruction sheet on servicing.
There is this one though - the XRD5 which has a brake:

Yeah I think I saw before all the Inter hubs are Shimano Nexus.
What are Sunrace SA hubs? A rebranding?
