It depends on the size of the cart. The supermarket where I shop has no room at the bottom and do you really want to scratch up your $900.00 dollar Brompton but putting it down there?

The front touring bag and attachment is probably the best feature of the Brompton folding bike. I don't know why others don't have this feature.

Highly recommended.

I've never seen you guys (I live in Bayonne) but it would be a first seeing a couple go grocery shopping with a BOB! I'm thinking for a moment, the two of you must eat a lot of food! ;) Then again, I only do shopping for myself but an alternative would be to haul a shopping cart behind you with a Traileron.

I've seen front Dahon bags, but nothing quite that substantial. It does seem like a logical addition, particularly if panniers don't work well for folders.
