I bought the 2007 Dahon Helios advertised in 2007, with 7 speed Nexus. It has given great service.

Why did the Helios disappear? great light bike, responsive, comfortable. With hub gear, an ideal travel bike.

The hub gear Mu XL replaced the hub gear Helios XL... the Mu Frame is less flexy .. having owned a couple of Helios since 2003, and ridden both frames (current Mu is the Uno), the Mu is a significant step forward.

Haven't ridden the Helios, but I wonder if it might be perfectly stiff for lighter riders. For me the Mu is like a rock, which is good, but I wonder if something a little lighter might hit the sweet spot for a welterweight.
