Very nice looking Dahon Curve D3:

It really bothers me when a seller posts a picture from the vendor's web site, instead of a photo of the actual item he/she is selling. A generic photo is fine if you are selling multiple identical items in identical condition - usually new. But if you are selling a used item, show me the actual item, or I'm not interested.

It weighs only 17 pounds and will fit in a 36 x 12 x 11 in bag in seconds (about the size of a small golf bag), making it extremely easy to carry, transport, or store. It really shines, however, when you unfold and ride it. This is without a doubt the best solution to getting around the city without the hassles of waiting for traffic, looking for parking spots and paying for gasoline! Of course, you get a great workout at the same time and do your part to preserve the environment.

* Lightweight, goes anywhere with you!
* Folds in seconds, no tools required
* Excellent riding position for adults and kids
* Sturdy frame that rides like a full size bike
* Great acceleration and maneuverability
* Optimized gear ratio for relaxed, efficient pedalling

Carryme was designed to become a part of your life and go everywhere with you. The perfect companion for travelling or commuting to work or school, it will soon leave you wondering how you got along without it. Unlike other folding bikes - which, although compact, still take up too much space and are unwieldy and heavy to carry around - Carryme will truly become a part of you mobile life. Like a true friend, it will also help you to take care of yourself by bring exercise into your schedule and getting you to your destination as quickly or leisurely as you want to get there. Whether you choose to take the express route or the scenic route, Carryme will be there by your side, ready to share another of life's experiences with you.

A nice, Hungarian bike from the 1960's?, designed for storage in those small spaces and trunks. It rides very nicely, and is adustable to fit a wide variety of heights. It's great for those short trips to the store or just bopping around the neighborhood, but you wouldn't want to take it on a 20 mile trip. Just serviced and detailed, it's in very nice shape for it's age. For more info call Tom @ 708-484-2694.

Neat customized Dahon Boardwalk on ebay.

Item number: 300307516522 (enter that into the Search bar at to pull up the ad)

Dahon Single Spd Folding Specialized Primo On One Mary
This bike has been totally rebuilt. All of the heavy original steel parts have been removed. If you want any of them let me know. The frame is in really good condition. This Boardwalk did not come with the magnets to lock in the fold but I bought some and found a way to make them work. Please look at all the photos to see the few nicks and scratches. The double kickstand that is on the bike in the photos IS NOT INCLUDED in the auction. The original kickstand was a rear axle mount and these are readily available.

Thanks to Thor at I purchased the Dahon alloy folding stem and the Biologic seatpost pump.

The handlebars are ON ONE MARY and perfect for the Dahons as they allow you to fold with no problems. They give a natural hand position and you can move forward into the bends to stretch out a bit more. Adorned with black cork grips and canti/levers in silver.

The crankset is a Specialized (Nitto) triple 172.5, converted to a single with a 52 ring. Bottom bracket is a sealed cartridge style. The pedals are none other than MKS folding.

The wheels are 451 or 20x1 1/8, SUN M13II Rims, 28 stainless spokes front and rear. Original Dahon front hub and Quando flip-flop rear with 15/14. The rear hub is a BMX and accepts the smaller and larger diameter freewheels. this could easily convert to a Fix/Free if you wanted to go with a fixed cog on the larger threaded size with a lock ring (BB lock ring). The gear inches as they are now are 75.3 and 70.3. The tires are Primo Comet Kevlar Belt 20x1 3/8.

The leather saddle is EXTREMELY comfortable. E3 Form Gel with cromo rails. Weight: 247g Cover: Leather Rails: Chromoly Dimensions: L= 10.5" W= 5.25"

The brake calipers are Dia- Compe side pull and shoes are Tektro.

The rack is the original black steel but kinda cool. I do have a rack that fits to the front V-brake mounts but this does hinder the fold a bit. Ask me about it if your interested.

All in all this is a very cool, lightweight, folding bike. I don't believe Dahon makes folders with the larger, lighter 20" wheels so this is kind of unique. I was up to six folders and this one needs a new home.

Raleigh Twenty - $220 (Pilsen)

I bought this bike about four years ago, tore it down and then stuck it in the closet. I have since "sort of" built it back up. Other projects have gotten in the way.

All original parts included (but not pictured) including original wheels, fenders, breaks, levers, etc. Bike has new wheels, saddle, freewheel, tires and tubes. The original three-speed wheel has been dissembled for rebuilding.

I don't remember the year, but I think it's '72.

Asking $220. Not super motivated to sell, so price is firm. If no one bites I'll probably finish it up and sell it later this summer.
