Winter/Foul Weather: What do you ride?
What do you ride in really foul or winter weather?
1. The same folding bike you usually ride.
2. The same folding bike but with winter preparation.
3. A different/specific folding bike from your 'stable'.
4. A non-folding bike.
5. You don't ride in such weather.
6. Winter? What's winter?

Last winter (my first folding winter), I rode my Mezzo straight through. Changed the chain lube to something a bit more capable of wet, grit and slush than my usual White Lightening wax lube and got the bike serviced come March. But that's about it. The one big concession to the weather was a pair of these - essential to keeping my shoes clean and dry for work

My folding bike is my "baby"!
The beat-up old mountain bike gets the nod for foul weather riding.

You wear a poncho when riding? That would invite instant ridicule in London... I think if packing my work shoes and wearing cycle shoes, I wouldn't bother, but as I tend to use the space in my bag for other stuff - suit, etc, I wear my work shoes to cycle. And they don't like torrential rain getting to them...
