Raleigh stowaway / twenty handlebar adjustment
Hello, sorry for the desperately dull thread but I need some advice
I have recently aquired a raleigh stowaway folder and am in the process of adjusting it to fit my other half.
It seems that although it will allow me to raise the seat to a ridiculous height the handlebars hardly move.
I have found that setting the seat to the lowest point and the handlebars to the highest point the handlebars still seem to low.
Any ideas, tips, links would be greatly appreciated

There should be a wire/cable thingy that goes from the inside of the stem to around the front brake bolt (inside the fork). This keeps you from raising the bars too (unsafe) high. Try taking the brake bolt out and see if the wire loop is snagged up inside the bars. Also there is a nylon bushing inside the headset that may need a little wd-40. Good luck!
