Bike friday sti bars

Anyone using the Bike friday sti bars? I was thinking about putting them on my swift folder. I am setting it up with a nexus 8 hub, and would like the clean look of putting the twist shifter on the tops of the bars, plus the convenience of split bars. According to the BF website, this should be possible.

My concern is the curves on the bars. I usually ride with road drops, and often I ride with my hands on the curved corners of the bar. On the sti bar this a right angle. Is this a comfortable place for your hands, or are the positions limited to the horns and the tops of the bars. Thanks.
