I have Alex DM24 28H rims on my Mini. Although they can be difficult to find in the ERTO 305 size. I assume that one could purchase the Velocity Rims from Peter White. Are there places in Britain where a 28H SA8 can be purchased? Typically, one can only find the 36H version. |
Oh ... I have tried the "butt buddy" from Sidetrak ... not bad in my opinion. Although I did not get the sense that there was much suspension added.
But what I really like is the Tube Weenie ... great way to carry an extra tube or two. |
SA8's are here:
http://oldbiketrader.co.uk/display_S...ns=newhubspost Last item. Doesn't specify the drilling Freemans also has them (same people I linked to for R20 cotterless axles), definitely in 28h, but out of stock at present. They had them last week: http://www.freemanscycles.co.uk/cycl...urmey_archer_8 And also Roman Road cycles, no details of spoke holes: http://www.roman-road.co.uk/prices/index.htm So generally, you can definitely get them in 28h, but you can always get them. Of course, Velocity does 305 rims in 32h too. |

No, I was responding to this question (bold added by me). And yes, there are.

Ah - ok. Well, that was what I was trying to answer, anyway - yes there are places, here they are.
