Correct.

Just remember that you need to ream the hole of the Surly Singleator out a bit to fit the SA8 axle. Otherwise it is a great product.

I have Alex DM24 28H rims on my Mini. Although they can be difficult to find in the ERTO 305 size. I assume that one could purchase the Velocity Rims from Peter White.

Are there places in Britain where a 28H SA8 can be purchased? Typically, one can only find the 36H version.

Oh ... I have tried the "butt buddy" from Sidetrak ... not bad in my opinion. Although I did not get the sense that there was much suspension added.

But what I really like is the Tube Weenie ... great way to carry an extra tube or two.

SA8's are here:

Last item. Doesn't specify the drilling

Freemans also has them (same people I linked to for R20 cotterless axles), definitely in 28h, but out of stock at present. They had them last week:

And also Roman Road cycles, no details of spoke holes:

So generally, you can definitely get them in 28h, but you can always get them. Of course, Velocity does 305 rims in 32h too.

I guess I omitted the rest of the sentence. You can't find the 28H SA-8 hubs here in the US. You can just about always find them in 36H.

No, I was responding to this question (bold added by me). And yes, there are.

Well ... you included a bunch of glop regarding the presence of the hub.

Ah - ok. Well, that was what I was trying to answer, anyway - yes there are places, here they are.
