Picked up a new folder today

I got this off of craigslist this afternoon. The original owner said he hardly used it and it looks it. I found it very easy to ride and I think this one will be a keeper.

Yeah, almost 100% sure that would be a Trek unless some Chinese OEM slipped out of the factory.
It was a partnership with Dahon - I forget if Dahon actually built them, or just licensed the technology.

There were several models, the top of the line was the F600.. you don't have that one.
I would bet on an F400. I think there was also an F200 and maybe an F100... unsure.

There was a dealer in my city who carried them for a bit, but iirc they were quite a bit heavier than the equivalent Dahon's and priced rather high. Still a very nice find!

F400: https://www.bayviewcycle.com/NewFiles...DING/F400.html
F600: http://www.bayviewcycle.com/NewFiles/bike_specs/003/FOLDING/F600.html

There used to be archived info on Trek's site, but they seemed to re-organized/bury it at one point. My favourite Trek folder was the red one with the stripes... it reminded me of the Red Baron.

Does anyone know what model designation it was for Dahon?

Dahon did not produce a similarly shaped hydroform frame. The Dahon technology is circa 2004.
