May I suggest turning the QR lever on head clamp the other way, in saddle direction and tight to the post. I'm a bit worried the way it's sticking out there.

Arrr. All done. I been riding the thing today. Took it 'offroad' Skidded around in the horse-poo and came home. Needs some lumpy tyres,..:twitchy::twitchy::twitchy:

I too go off-road into the great outdoors...natures toilet. I have become more wary of the stress put on the handlebar-post since Jur's Downtube Mini had a snap at the head. :bike2:

Can't that happen on any folder NM?

To-morrow when thou leavest, what wilt thou say ?
Wilt thou then antedate some new-made folding cycle?
Or say that now
We are not just those cyclists
Which hate the cow
And do pray, to St Micheal?

I love the direction this forum is taking. I don't know if it's art, but it's a ruddy good time for one and all.

mulleady 07-11-08 04:09 PM

we cannot hate a cow
for she is a sacred creature
like the K-star of bikes
the patron of full suspension
crossing organic dungheaps
to flee the terror of a naked rider sam
astride his black folding stallion clad barely in tin foil

There was a young man called mulleady
who for folders became very needy
bromptons and pimped up black barts
joined the forums, met folders powered by farts
and naked ride exhibitionists who were seedy

Good morning ladies & gentleman and nigelme and snafu21 :D

It started with the poetic beauty of John Donne but has descended into dirty limericks. :p

Indeed a 'ruddy good time' but alas not art.

Good morning to you Sir.

I oiled my brakes today, in preparedness for tomorrow. Now, I don't got no brakes. How can this be? They were there this morning.

MANUFACTURED USING POST MODERNE’S STATE-OF-THE-ART SMICA

What the hell is SMICA?

I thought it was a brand of Latvian boot polish.

You don't need to oil the rubber bits.
