You don't need to oil the rubber bits.

Depends what you define by 'rubber bits'

I don't know why my Downtube came with brakes. I seem to be able to stop it quite easily by riding it into a tree.

Could you show us that trick tomorrow?

Meet 11am by Serpentine cafe or QE gate? Riding on pavements and ignoring designated cycle paths is mandatory

12 mile hack from Lee On The Solent, to Wickham, Hampshire on the Dahnchoob. A gel saddle has replaced the vile Rido instrument of torture.

I'm beginning to love the comfy ride on the Choober. And it's orangeness. I went past the naval base thing in Fareham, and a soldier with a gun waved at me as I went past.

Lordy!

There's another Serpentine Road. In Fareham.
