I used to skin a significant proportion of the Embankment Peloton on my unmodified R20, but that's because I'm a straight out monster, and they're not a serious racing crew, though so many of them dress as though they are.

;)

Yes, Rob was one of the few rare ones I was thinking about, but then again that quality of rider would excell on almost any bike.

Just back from the Sat morn hammerfest, but this time I used my roadie, and even though my breakfast still came up, it was nice to be back up the front and attacking on the hills.
So until I get a BF PRP, Moulton or Swift, the R20 is relegated to:
Commuting, pootling and touring....

"Odd's fish, my dear, the man's a poet and he doesn't know it".
Can anyone name the movie and who said the quote?

To be perfectly honest, give me a SWB for commuting, pootling, fun rides and touring, but not for my fast rides.....unless anyone has some spare EPO to give away.

I ... can ... keep ... up...

Aww F*** it. You guys win. (obvious since they're taking a pic of me finishing the ascent :) )

Now that is a nice bike, if I had the cash my first choice would be a BF PRP. I contacted the Australian BF agent in Melbourne about prices....but NO reply.

Again I say...if I had a BF or a Moulton or Swift, then I too could keep up, but not on my heavy R20 :(
