Dahon Curve D3 - Lousy Hub / Tune up question

Hi, I just got a 2008 Dahon Curve D3 after I had my Speed D7 for 2 days only (too big). The D3's rear hub's bearing noise is louder than the one on the Speed D7. Is this normal? Does it needs any adjustment? What do I have to tune-up once I get the bike? The bike was a little wobbly, but I adjusted a nut inside it. Thank you in advance.
