I read the Boardwalk S1 was a good platform to build on. I was wondering if any of you would post pictures of your custom Boardwalks . I searched and only found a few . kirby

Dahon Boardwalk 7
Here's a pic of the Boardwalk 7 I just picked up a few days ago. Took off the fenders and rack today.

You have likely seen this one on here. It's a 2005 S1.
I don't plan anymore changes/improvements.

Thanks for the pictures ; keep them coming !! I know with as many of these out there, there's got to be more that have been set up just the way you want . Dynocoaster ; why would you be changing out the crank as well as other equipment ? Is the factory stuff not up to par? I've ordered one and I'm trying to get to know it before it gets here. Thanks for the replies. kirby

Photos? Did you miss my own photos of my custom Boardwalk? I have many photos of my own Boardwalk in case you missed them featured here at my Flickr site listed below. They are spread across all of my sets there.

Those are a couple of nice ones "What Bike" ; I especially like the one from Velospace. Nice simple clean lines . Simple , yet functional. kirby

Camping World has been selling Dahon Boardwalks (S1 & D7) for the last couple of years, plus the Yeah Bike variant.
However, visit to local Camping World store last week found that they had precious few of these left, and were also selling the Adventurer brand. Just now I looked at their website and there were no Dahons, only Adventurers.
If you have a local Camping World store you might want to check it out, as some Well-priced Dahons might still be in stock. I got my S1 for $129. in Jan 2006 (member's price). They had a similar price on them several months ago.
May be worth the effort if they have any left.
