It sure looks that way, but in my experience crashes result in damage at or by the welds, rather than in the middle of the tube. Still, what a strange looking bike!

Yes - I was joking. The give away that it wasn't a crash victim is that the head tube and forks are in perfect alignment with the rest of it. I'm so glad that Mr Ritchie re-designed it or we'd never have heard of the Brompton Bike let alone ever wanted to have one.

Hmmm! Suddenly jumped to £200+ then was withdrawn from sale, it looks in not very good condition, what is that strange attachment to one of the cranks? BTW?
