Pacific electric bikes

A few days back electric versions of several Pacific models were added at their website.

Of interest is the Reach (pedelec) and CarryMe (motorized).

No weights listed, but the ReachIF is heavy to begin with, while the CarryMe is a great choice for a multi-mode throttle controlled electric bike. Not a lot of detail at this point, but with Li-Po batteries I'd venture to guess the combined electric gear adds 6kg ... perhaps in the range of 15kg?

I realize you're talking of the electric bikes but I do like the Carryme DS (non-electric). I think I found my next folding bike. Either that one or a Strida.

PS: What worries me about the Carryme is that the weight limits are 185 pounds. I'm at 185. I wonder if I would damage the bike if I carry a backpack or get the rack accessory to carry a rack pack?
