Where has your folder gotten you today?
Got up early and took a ride before yoga, as evidenced by the mat hanging off the back.
The writing says "Ginowan Tropical Beach". I don't speak much Japanese but I can read a little.
Anyway it felt good to get out and get a little sea breeze before sweating out at yoga (and after as well).

We took a very similar ride today along the beachfront in Ventura, CA on our BFs. (Something we do on a very regular basis.) Then went to a Starbucks in the nearby downtown area for our afternoon coffee.
There was a several thousand participant, organized, multi-day bike ride coming into the State Park (for the night) as we headed back along the beachfront to our condo.
Beautiful day at the beach.

Well, nowhere today unfortunately - $#%$%@ rainy season! But, a couple of nights ago I took a nice night ride around Yokohama port area. Lot's things to see and do these days as Yokohama is decked out in celebration of it's 150th anniversary.

yeah that's the Speed P8. All in all I think I ride it more than any other bike I have. It's a little workhorse. Probably I hop on it mostly because it has the coffee holder thing on it and I'm a coffee nut.
Japan is ate up with little coffee shops and many that brew some great stuff.

Nikon Coolpix P50 - a decent cheap and compact camera. I'd rather have your Leica but I'm happy with it.

I love that thing so much I bought three of them. I went to our on base Starbucks and bought an insulated coffee mug and it fits PERFECTLY.
Got the inspiration for this from a guy in Okinawa who hangs out on the commuting forum here. Saw him on his Surly Cross Check at one of the bike shops one day and he told me about it. I kinda forgot about it but he posted a cockpit photo over there and it reminded me to pick one up.
They are freaking sweet. Japan has coffee shops EVERYWHERE. Little hole in the walls many of which are just wonderfully pleasant experiences and this coffee mug holder has helped me explore many of these little haunts.
Everybody in Japan has some super top secret beans or brewing recipe and it's just cool to run around and test them all.

All right. While I'm on a roll here is what I BELIEVE to be the travel mug that fits perfectly in the OR8.
Brand name COPCO. We have a quasi Starbucks on base here in Okinawa that sells them for about $15 or $20 (I forget) but you can see they are much cheaper here.

One more thing about the COPCO mug. If you click my link at the bottom of the page is a "Where to Buy" link. Looks like the whole world sells them.
If you're approaching this from a standpoint of I need a mug to keep my coffee hot for 16 hours this ain't the one. I've found it to keep my coffee warm for a reasonable amount of time. More than it takes me to drink a cup but factor in that there's no winter where I live.
My specs are purely that it fits that coffee holder like it was made for it.
