does anyone else want a worksman?

'dem folders look'in mighty tasty to me lately.

They probably weigh 50 pounds, but I bet you can just toss a trash bag over it and rest assured that the baggage handler at the airport has finally met his match.

Maybe I just have a soft spot because I grew up in the area, but it seems like a good deal:
  • american made
  • fenders
  • rack
  • bomb proof coaster brake
  • any color you want
  • no doubt clearance for 2.35" big apples

Sure a Dahon boardwalk may be a few pounds lighter, but who can say no to "LA Lavender" and 11g spokes?
Anyone riding one of these?

Did you get a look at the folding tandem they have listed on that same page? It looks really cool but the weight limit is kind of low at 325lbs.

Last Christmas, I bought a folding trike for a close lady friend of mine from Wal-Mart called the "Trifecta". It is a budget version of the "Port-O-Trike" also shown on that web page. It does fold fairly compact for an adult trike, and she keeps it in her living room next to the front door to use when ever she goes shopping to the local supermarket about a mile away.

I would say that Worksman products may have an almost "agricultural", unsophisticated look to them but they do last.
