Attaching accessories to the seat post of Dahon Mu SL
Can I attach accessories like this one to the 34mm diameter seat post on the Dahon Mu SL?

Actually what I want is to exercise the dog, not carry him. I'd like to know if standard tube accessories will fit the oversized tube of the folding bike and if it's safe to use them.
If not, installing a rack on the bike and attaching the dog leash to it might be a good alternative, how does this affect the folding ability of the bike?
