Travel among the Maya.....
I have been doing at least one trip a year to Maya areas for a couple of decades and I want to begin riding my folding bike on these. My 2010 jungle trip in Guatemala will be rather iffy as to success with a bike, so I am not inviting others along this year.
However, I would like to get a feel as to whether there are others here with folding bikes who find Maya ruins intriguing and would like to travel to them. I do not foresee riding everywhere, but instead taking buses or other mass transit to villages to base in and to explore surrounding ruins. I would not be afraid to of returning to well-known sites that companions had not seen. Then at the end, I always like a place to swim and to take it just a bit easy before flying home.
