Bike Friday Riders in Singapore!
Heya, it turns out that Lynette Chiang aka Galfromdownunder aka BF's customer evangelist is headed to SG for the first couple of weeks in October. She's thinking of doing at least a group ride with other BFers and was wondering how many of us there'd be?
I'll be there if BF manages to get my NWT out the door in time for my flight back here. :thumb: |
i'm keen....if it's a weekend... =) Ditto for my tikit
|
Count me in, of course. Will be in town during that time I think ...
:) |
Hi all, Lynette's in SG now and we're looking to set up a time to do a group ride. This is open to any other foldies out there! Looks like Saturday might be the best bet but give us your thoughts. :)

Galfromdownunder (Bike Friday) has landed
Oops, that wasn't meant to be, like, Lance Armstrong has landed or anything, but I arrived midnight Sat and had to hit the ground pedaling to interview one of our cool customers, Mark Mobius of Franklin Templeton http://www.bikefriday.com/gallery/markmobius. See http://www.galfromdownunder.com/blog - under "Uncut" and the fully monty will appear at http://www.bikefriday.com/singapore - when my dad lets me get on the internet to create that page!
I fly to Japan Oct 16 so it would be great to hook up and ride or eat in that order or even the reverse order. I can also show my Route 66 on a Friday or 16,000 Feet on a Friday movie on someone's big screen and we can eat some more. I believe Alvin Lee http://www.bikefriday.com/gallery/alvinlee will be landing here Oct 7 or something. Let's have a little wheel party! And any suggestions for must-do/eat, let me know and I'll tag along. I've already stuffed and video'd myself with Durian. Stand by for that one ... Thanks Wai for the cheerleading. Lynette PS also have a handful of the new 'Guyfromdownunder' man's edition of my Traffic Cone Bag with me if anyone is interested. Made by a little Chinese lady in NYC... http://www.galfromdownunder.com/tcb |
How about this Saturday? Wai Sing has landed too.
OK, here's the first bit of multimedia about my Singapore visit so far http://www.bikefriday.com/singapore |

There's some useful info here: http://www.bikefriday.com/japan Ruthy recently posted something about cycling in japan on a blog here: http://cycle-tokyo.cycling.jp/ I'm looking outside and thinking - man, it's HOT here ... Does anyone want to do something here in Singapore? Since I have to share the internet with my dad and his partner, I have to get out of the house :o) I'm thinking ... the Red Dot Museum - I am a design junkie. |
