Panniers for Dahon Arclite rack on Speed D7?

Hi folks,

I know the Arclite is a tiny rack, but I'm OK with that.

I'm hoping to find some panniers to fit.

Can you advise?

I tried various paniers on my vitesse and heelstrike appeared to be an issue- ended up getting this trunk bag instead https://www.nashbar.com/bikes//Produc...2_167702_-1___

Depends also on foot size.

On my Mu P8, Ortlieb Sports Packer Plus work very well.

Trunkbags are better for the Arclite. Most panniers, even smaller front ones, will result in heel strike. I use the MTX TrunkBag DXP.

I've mounted the Ortlieb Shuttle Bike on an ArcLite rack on a Helios. Large capacity and mounted as far back as possible there's no problem with heel strike -- but it's not great for handling. Next time would go for front-mounted panniers.

Bikes: "Hildy", a Novara Randonee touring bike; a 16-speed Bike Friday Tikit; and a Specialized Stumpjumper frame-based built-up MTB, now serving as the kid-carrier, grocery-getter.

If you don't mind spending a bit more $$$, the Lone Peak rack pack is quite an excellent bag. https://thetouringstore.com/LONE%20PE.../RP700%20RACK%

I use mine on my Dahon Curve as well as on my touring rig, and love it. No heelstrike with 16" wheels!

Picture is attached- there's a reflective strip on the sides and back and it allows easy attaching of a planet bike superflash. Also comes with a bright yellow rain cover, a number of pockets, and a carrying strap. Nashbar generally has coupons or other good deals on this bag.

Update: I actually got the Nashbar Elite, not the deluxe- don't remember exactly what the difference was https://www.nashbar.com/bikes//Produc...2_167070_-1___
