Ridgeback Helios

Hi All,

I have just bought my first bike... a Ridgeback Helios.

First, I was surprised by just how easy it is to ride a folding bike, and I think the bike is great.

It was second hand, and apparently 3 years old. I suspect it is really a Dahon (there is a sticker saying to use a Dahon Technician for repairs on it), but I can't find any info on it.

I can take a photo if it helps, but does anyone know anything about this bike?

Thanks

thanks for the pic. doesn't look like a dahon model. i checked the dahon site and couldn't find it. i am guessing it is a rebadged dahon or something. sorry not much help here. can't find any info. maybe some of the members here can chime in...

Thanks anyway. As it's a few years old, it isn't a current model, so it is unlikely to be on a manufacturers website. But if there is a Dahon equivalent to it, there is likely to be more info on the web about it.

Thanks for your help vmaniqui, perhaps someone else will recognise it...

I think I found the one. It's a few years older than the man at the shop said however. I think it is identical to the 2002 Dahon Helios bike.

Possible. But at least since 2004, the Helios looked like this.

i am guessing that yours is of international model. they never sold that bike here in usa. not that i know of. unless someone can verify this for us. you can probably call dahon for the specs of that bike. just tell them the serial no. and they should be able to look it up on their system. the serial no. should be etched below the BB.

I read in another forum that it is a rebadged Dahon in the UK.
