Two weeks off the bike

Not by choice. Got sent to Afghanistan for a couple weeks and was positively despondent that I couldn't ride. The very nature of the land there screams "cyclocross".

Anyway I held out for a foldie ride back in Japan and I love just cruising up and down new roads and stopping and taking pics.

It's good to be back.

Two weeks? That’s nothing

Last rode my Brompton on the 18 September (crashed a motorcycle on the 20 September and badly broke my right collar bone and cracked a rib or two). The bone has started to heal but the Doctor has warned me not to do anything that risks falling or damaging that shoulder again. Still can’t drive for another 3-4 weeks. Probably be the New Year before I can ride my Brompton or Moutons again and a lot longer before I can use my rifles & shotguns again.

Getting fed up of it all now especially with the Moulton in the front living room sat on its stand next to the TV..... I keep looking at it itching to ride it again
