Bike Friday's Black Friday Sale

According to Bikes@Vienna, this coming Black Friday, Bike Friday is offering 15% off any bike they sell as long as it's black. Say that ten times fast.

Hmmm, I wonder if they would swap a very nice Kawasaki ZR7 for a black PRP with full Durace?

Oh yeah...that, that, that, that,that......

No e-mail from Bike Friday yet, but this is the type of "sale" they occasionally have.

No need to wait...

I believe they will take your order anytime between now and Friday! At least that's the message they left me.
Make sure to mention one of us as your referral...so someone gets the referral credit. ( is this cheating)

Absolutely not! Tell 'em I sent you! :-)

Edit: somehow I left off the "is this cheating" bit, so rather than answering the question I sounded like I was butting in. :-)

DOH! OK its a stretch....but you dont own a tikit and it has a very different target market. Just tell them feijai talked you into it cause of the hyperfold.

But either way get yourself a tikit...

I wonder if they will sell black frames at a discount...or if its just complete bikes? anyone know?

The wife and I talked just today about the applicability of the tikit to our lifestyle (she really likes the hyper-fold feature), but...only if we commuted. Being retired, we don't. Wife also feels I might look a bit silly on a tikit at a lanky 6'3".

We really like our NWT & Crusoe as our road bikes, and she is now VERY pleased with her new Pocket in it's role as her "errand" bike.

I'm not trying to tempt you, but you're the reason they make a Large Tikit.

The seat post would resemble a Flag Pole! My NWT is 39 1/2" from the pedal to top of seat.

Truthfully, I'm going to have to sell something (like my '74 Alfa Spider) before I can justify buying another bike. We try to live 'simply' and it's gotten a little embarrassing. Wife doesn't want relatives to know how many bicycles we have.

Great sale, though - wife would have had me wait to order her Pocket 8 had she known.

Lou
