This place seems to have become a ghost town..
Is it just me, or do others think this site is very quiet since the site has been “upgraded”?
Oh and I liked to look of the old forum much better than this new version.
When I post a new topic, the “Message box” is hidden way over to the right of my 22” monitor... I have to scroll right to find it.
Not a very good upgrade

Usually winter will see an increase in traffic, after the holidays.
Posting replies is a PITA. You hit the reply button, they you have to hit the go advanced button to get to where you can make a proper reply.
I am not a huge fan of the new software, but I have to have my daily BF fix so I guess I will just have to live with it.

Yeah, it does feel quiet. I miss some of the regular posters. Do you think that we've covered everything there is to talk about with folders?
Seriously, though, maybe it is the winter doldrums. Fewer people riding. Holiday time, etc...

Yup, it's slow.. I noticed immediately after the makeover, the average people viewing this sub-forum dropped in 1/2... there is never many viewing at one time.. low to mid 20's is average.. lately, 10s and 12s... so this post is representative of approximately 10% of the viewers ..

Well, I haven't been around as much lately, but don't blame the new software. It's just... I don't know, it seems we've talked about everything that needed to be talked about, most of them many times over, and there doesn't seem to be that much new going on. Like... well, nothing new, it seems to me.

There are probably a few people put off by the new cite. With regards to people who remember Coffee, we have covered much.

From what I have noticed on the Folding Aframe Forums (on Yahoo) over the last 7 years, it's the newcomers asking questions and the more experienced members responding that seems to generate the most traffic. [YES, we also have a Folding Trailer in addition to our Folding Bikes and Folding Boat - a Zodiac Mk II Compact).]
How does traffic compare to this time last year??? Maybe with the great world & U.S.economies folks aren't looking to buy as much stuff as before?

Maybe it's people forgetting their password and figuring they'll retrieve it later?

The other assertion that much of what was to be discussed, has, but there is always something new to talk about.
Bottom line is that I won't be hanging around as much as I used to, but I'll still try to take a look at least once a day, as long as the site will let me in. Lately, I am spending a lot of time on a kick scooter forum in Yahoo Groups, and if you think about it, those are "folders" too.

i have been around forums a bit ..... remember when the Internet didnt have any pictures ?
usually it takes some time if a forum changes to get everybody back. it all depends on the quality and helpfullness of the participants to keep a forum alive and well .
And despite the seldom found heckling, this forum is one of the best. NO doubt. The folks here have a positive passion which is seldom found.
The format might agrevate us old timers a bit but sometimes change is not all a bad thing ,,,, and sometimes its plain necessary .... Now I only wish that our politicians (also the lately elected ones) would change their ways and get things going, not only the promised parts but also the stuff which just plain makes sense, instead of going back and more back to old ways ... see ... change is good :-) dont you agree ?
