Royal Enfield as you prolly know were an ageing Brit motorcycle builder. They now make motos in India and ship them to Blighty. The orignal Royal Enfields were said to be heavy on lube useage and drips, and were nicknamed 'Royal Oilfields'.

Who knows what the cute blue bikes are?

As a once proud owner of a Royal Enfield 250 cc Crusader Sports i must protest, the only person known to have refered to the marque as Royal Oilfield is one Snafu21. I doubt there is anything about these bikes that is actually Enfield, even the signwriting is wrong, i would guess they are bought in and rebadged, by someone or other. The last real Royal Enfield bicycle was the Revelation, there is a board memebr in USA has two of them if i recall correctly, and our own Sammyboy scored one on ebay a while back.

I think also, the Indian company still making variations on the Bullet motorcycle is only able to badge them as Enfield, they are not able to use the Royal prefix.

The bikes are a variant of the "U-frame folder" of the 70's - 80's. Typically made in Italy or Eastern Europe, they can have unusual tire sizes, and are not great bikes even when in good condition. The frames are flexy and the hinge mechanism can be very problematic. Of course they are not all the same, and some must be better than others, and I don't know anything specific about these. Still... I'd steer clear.

Yeah, I suppose 180 is slow on a non sports bike, just have to open it right out to see how fast it will go........
