You will need more than just the stem and handlebars... the brake levers are different as are the brake and gear cable lengths between the S-type and M-type Brompton’s.
I don’t think you will find many S-Type owners who would want to swop for the sit-up and beg riding position of the M-bars after riding the sporty S-Type. I bought my Dad an M-Type Brompton a few months ago (could not get an S-Type at the time and he was not prepared to wait), yet he still prefers the riding position of my S-Type and he is 75 years old. I even considered buying the parts to convert his to S-Type spec but he is now getting used to the M-Type bars.

Hello gents,
Yes im aware of your mod (apoligies for such crude terminology for such fine work). however my preference would be the s type. As explained in the attached image.
anyway back to writing my essay " A summary of energy equality with a emphasise on Sub-Saharan Africa " .
Kind regards,

ddez - Don't know if you saw this in another thread?
I've just bought these
https://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Spank-Tweet-Tw...item33561e4418
for the extra height. They've not turned up as yet. So I can't give a verdict. 70mm is pretty good though, whilst maintaining a more race style geometry.
If you wanted the aberhalo, I'd be happy to order you one here and send it on. If they won't ship abroad.

I recall seeing the VRO clamp here:
https://sslrelay.com/s75353868.onean...NPOSTVRO1%3D29
Out of stock but probably worth contacting them to see when they will have new stock before ordering from the States.

Longer brake cables? Hmm - probably. I only run one brake and it's decidely non-standard so can't actually remember. I probably cannibalised the longer rear cable knowing me.
