The purple is great. The smarties I can take or leave, but they add something. You must have a better class of dump; I've never seen a 20 of any colour at ours. I want a purple, and there's a deep red colour I'd like too. Never seen either colour in a folding one though.

Sammyboy,
I know this won't help, but........My wife's R20 is that colour, it's called MAGENTA only her paint job is heaps better, it actually gleams.
As for that red colour, the guy who sold me the MAGENTA R20 has a BSA 20 in red, and in better condition!!
Too bad you're not in Oz.

I want both. Actually, I might rebuild this one with drops, white bar tape, white San Marco Rolls saddle. Can I get white high performance tyres? Too awesome. And the deep crimson to match, but with black. Mmmm.
Actually, I really need to get on with my Raleigh 24

Oh Snafu, I thought you knew your onions! That's one of the uniformly appalling U-framed monsters that came after the real 20, with the stiff frame, was discontinued. I wouldn't wee on that if it were on fire. The hinge alone is a horror to the engineering mind.

Oh sorry! They all look the same to me.

Couldn't you put some Smarties on it or something? At least it's not purple.

Looks like a 3 speed to me? I have never seen a single speed rear generator hub. It has a second cable running to the right rear, the little white blob on the right rear axle end is a plastic cover to protect the indicator chain.
