Model T Or Hyperfold Tikit? Please read if you are interested in a Tikit.
 

I have the choice of the Model T or the Hyperfold, the Hyperfold is $100 more. I am at a point where I need some help deciding. By the way the Model T is $700 and the Hyperfold is $800 and after I make my decision I will tell you where they are. This place will ship.

I would get the Hyperfold at that price. Excuse me while I get some popcorn and sit back to see where you are getting them for at these prices....

For that price, the Hyperfold. If you were talking retail price, my recommendation would be different...

I just sold my Hyperfold Tikit. Next time, I wouldn't spend the extra on the Hyperfold feature. I always had to fiddle with the handlepost hinge anyway...

I just bought the Model T. After a talk with my wife that is all I could spend. The Hyperfold is a large. It is $800, This place was a Bike Friday dealer but quit over a year ago and had these two bikes left. I called them out of curiosity and they still had them. It is Dutch Bikes in Seattle and talk to David Schmidt. He said he can give you a shipping estimate. Their phone number is 206-789-1678

thank you, the hyperfold wasnt a big deal, I tried the Tikit out several months ago and really liked it and a fast fold would have been more of a novelty than a need.

Nice. Congrats! I have the hyperfold and for my style of usage it's perfect. For most people, I think the Model T is fine (assuming most people don't do a lot of multimodal commuting.

Thank you, I ride into town and back which is 2 miles or leave it in the car. I would like to take a train trip and take it along to ride in town.

I have been riding the Model T for several months and have found it very easy and fast to fold and unfold. Best additions so far are a kickstand, Ergon grips, rear rack and Cateye wireless...all making for a very nice ride.

I have the parts here and I am looking forward to some upgrades.

no clues from BF as to what sizes SML correspond to in standard units of measure .
like if you ride a conventional Xsized bike you may fit a Y sized Tkiit.

Picked up the Tikit yesterday. David said he has a Birdy he also wants to sell and will let me know which model and how much.
